Tessa Noelle Davis 2/4/2014

I was scheduled for an induction on February 5th but Tessa had other plans.  On February 4th I went to bed and was anxiously awaiting for the 5th to come. I was sick of having Braxton Hick contractions for a month.  I woke up around 3:30am with cramping but didn't really think of it really being labor because it wasn't as painful as I remembered with Ashlyn (Kinsley I had no pain because I was induced and got the epidural before contractions started up).  I started timing my contractions and they weren't really consistent but deep Inside I had a feeling this was the real deal and I better get Blaine up and call my parents because they were going to watch Ashlyn and Kinsley for me.   My parents ended up not being able to leave their house when I needed them too because there was a big snow storm at their house.  My sister Amy was a life saver an drove all the way to the hospital to meet us and take the girls for us until our parents could get there.  It was around 5am when  Blaine and I went into labor and delivery and I was so sure they were going to send us home.  The nurses hooked me up to the machine that measures how strong my contractions were and checked to see how dilated I was.  I was in shock that I was already dilated to a 5-6 and my bag was buldging.  They said they would come back and check me again in a little while.  Right before 7 the nurses came in and I was dilated to a 10 and I had the urge to push.   My doctor came in and they got everything ready to deliver the baby.  Tessa was very stubborn and didn't want to come out.  Everytime she came down the birth canal her head turned and she was facing the wrong way. Finally with a little help Tessa made her grand appearance at 7:44am on February 4th.  She had the cord wrapped around her neck and was so small.  She was 5 lbs 14 oz and was 18.5 inches long.  When I first saw her I was so concerned because she was so small and wasn't crying.  After being put I my chest and getting rubbed down she started to cry.  She had such a sweet little cry.  The nurses didn't give her a bath because they were so concerned about how tiny she was and they didn't want her to lose any body heat.   Tessa had to have her blood sugar tested every few hours because they were concerned with how small she was that maybe she wasn't able to keep her blood sugar where it was supposed to be.  Luckily she passed all her tests and had no issues at all.
Less than an hour old

I love how tiny her feet were
She has so much hair :)
Going home outfit.   Couldn't wait to get home and out of the hospital.

Updates on the girls

I think its about time I start blogging again.  Its been way too long since I've been on here.  Crazy how much has change since I blogged last.  We now have 3 Precious little girls.

Ashlyn is 4 (5 in May)  She is such a sweet little girl.  She is playing soccer and loves running up and down the field.  I'm not sure if we will put Ashlyn into soccer again because she is more into chasing Blaine up and down the field and dancing and jumping.  There has been a few times that she has actually kicked the ball but I think she gets intimidated too easily and lets the other girls take over.   Blaine is her coach and really enjoys coaching Ashlyn and all the other cute little girls.

Kinsley is 2 (3 in June).  She is our tomboy and she sure has an attitude.  She loves to help me cook, fold laundry but hates putting her clothes away, she would live outside if I let her, she is always wanting to help with her baby sister.  She wants to be just like Ashlyn and wants to do everything she is doing.

Tessa is our newest little addition to our family.  She is almost 3 months old.  She is such a handful compared to her sisters but we are still obsessed with her.  She has bad acid reflux and can throw up like no other kid I've seen.  She is on medicine to help reduce the acid in her stomach.  She is starting to smile like crazy and I can't wait to have her start laughing.  You can tell she wants to laugh but she just doesn't know how to yet.  She was also the smallest of all 3 girls.  She was only 5 lbs 14 oz and 18.5 inches long.

I am the luckiest mom in the world to have these 3 cuties as my daughters.  Most days are insane and crazy at our house but I wouldn't change a single thing.

Love my Girls!

Today I put Kinsley in her Bumbo Chair while I did some cleaning.  Everytime I put her in it Ashlyn throws a fit because she wants to sit in it and not the baby.  When I came into the room Ashlyn had her head in Kinsleys lap and was giggling because Kinsley had two handfulls of her hair.  Then Kinsley would bring her hands to her mouth and start sucking on the hair.  Ashlyn just thought that it was the funniest thing.  I wish I could of gotten a picture of Ashlyn's face.

Ashlyn Brought me a cute little Butterfly clip and kept trying to put in in the Baby's hair.  When I put it in Kinsley's hair Ashlyn ran and grabbed my Ipod and kept saying cheese peas. (cheese peas= Picture please)  I love that Kinsley has long enough hair that I can put cute little things into it!

The last few days Kinsley has been doing so good sitting by herself.  I can't believe she is only 3 months old and already sitting.  She does get a little wobbley after a few minutes and falls over.

From the first day Kinsley was born Ashlyn has been such an amazing sister.  I hope that they will love each other and be best friends for the rest of their lives.  Kinsley gets so excited when she see's or hears Ashlyn.

I was trying to get the girls attention so I kept sticking my tongue out and wiggling it.  Ashlyn copys everything I do so sure enough her little tongue came out too.

 Mmmm.... fingers!

Kinsley started rolling over from her belly to her back.  She rolled right onto Lucy and scared her.

Such cute little dipples.  She has the total of 4 of them.   They make her smile so dang cute.  Makes my heart melt everytime I see he little smile!

This is by far my favorite picuture I have of kinsley.   She is all smiles 99 percent of the day.

Ashlyn took this by her self.  She did a pretty good job for only being two and a half.

I love my two little girls so much.  They mean everything to me and I don't know what I would do without them.  I am so excited to see them grow up together!

Finally I can blog again! YAY

WOW!!! Its been a whole year since I did my last blog.  We finally got a new computer that will actually let me blog and put pictures up.   A ton of stuff has happened this last year.   First Blaine and I both have gone back to school, 2nd Blaine got a new job at the hospital, and best for last we had a sweet little addition to our family. Kinsley Addelyn Davis was born June 6, 2011. She is adored by everyone that meets her. She is such a sweet little girl and is such a happy little baby. I am going to try and do better with keeping my blog up to date on whats going on in our life!

Our first family picture with all four of us.

Right after the Nurse gave Kinsley a bath.

Our Vegas Trip

We went to the Mall on the strip.  We walked around for about 15 minutes and than they started closing everything down for the night.  We ended up walking down the strip because we wanted to see the water show.  We walked as far as we could with the two kids before we stopped at The Mirage.  We saw the Volcano Show (I think thats what it is called) at The Mirage.  We never got to see the water show like we wanted too.  Maybe next time we will be able to go.

That night when we went back to our Hotel we drove around for an hour and a half.  We finally found a spot the farthest away. Both kids and I were so grumpy because we were tired, sore, and starving.  Blaine was just laughing and was like lets find closer spot, luckily he was just teasing. We get up to our room and put the key into the door.  Just our luck it doesn't work.  By the time we finally got into our room it was 11:30 pm.  For the most part our whole trip was a lot of fun and can't wait to go on our next little adventure!

Eating Ice cream.  Yum Yum Yum!

We went to Lunch with Jeremy and Desire while we were in Las Vegas.  Poor Jeremy got pooped on by Kinsley but he was a good sport about it and didn't let it ruin his meal.  haha  I wish we could of spent more time with them but we had to head back home.

Mmmm.... Bacon.

We went to a breakfast buffet at Circus Circus before we left for Mandalay Bay.

We went to the Mandalay Bay.  I have been there before but it seemed so much more fun because we had the kids with us.  I really love being able to see the excitement in Ashlyn's eyes as she saw all the fish and sharks.  When we went in the tunnel the fish and sharks were swimming all around us.  Everytime one came up to the glass Ashlyn freaked out and hugged me way tight.  It was so cute and I can't wait to go again.

They had Sting Rays in a pool that we could touch.  Both Blaine and I touched them, they felt like really hard rubber.  I wanted to see if Ashlyn would touch one but I knew she would get scared so she just looked at them.

Sunday Swim

When we got home from church today I let Shadow inside the house so I could feed him. After he was in for a little while I decided I would put him outside because he was being so hyper. I opened the sliding door to try getting him outside but of course he runs down the hallway. I finally manage catch him and carry his long dangely body outside. As soon as I got outside I look to the left because I hear something splash in the water. Ashlyn is sitting in her little kiddie pool in her sunday dress just looking at me with a big smile on her face.

I tried downloading more pictures from my phone but it was being dumb. This is the only one I was able to get for now. Its not the best but it was funny because she had pulled some grass up and it was stuck on her fingers. It scared her because it wouldn't come off because her hands were all wet.

This look she has on her face cracks me up.

Park

We walked to the park today to enjoy the nice weather. Ashlyn always gets so happy when we go outside. As soon as we put her on the blanket she started playing peek a boo with the frisbe that we had brought with us. It was so cute. She was constantly smiling and kept giggling. She has the cutest laugh ever. I could listen to her laugh all day long if I could.
I would say where is Ashlyn and every time she uncovered her face she had the biggest smile on her face.

Look at the smile!

I tried getting Blaine's attention so we could take a picture together but he kept looking away when I pressed the button.

Ashlyn discovered the grass today! She kept finding stuff on the ground. I think it was a little piece of paper that she had found.

Such a cute little girl! I can't believe that she is already 11 months old!!!

I finally got a semi good picture of Blaine and I. It would have been a lot better if we had someone with us taking the pictures but I managed doing it myself.

I was holding Ashlyn and snaping the picture in this one. Lol. Aren't I talented.

Ashlyn sure enjoyed being pushed in the swing.

The last few days Ashlyn's new thing is to point with her finger at things.

I love my baby doll!

First Time!

So the other day I decided to make mac and cheese for Ashlyn! I knew it was going to be a mess so I was dreading having her eat it. It ended up being everywhere just like I expected! Including the carpet and wall!

mmmm....

Shadow the terror

So we got a puppy the beginning of January. We named him Shadow. He is a border collie mix! I swear all that dog try to do it figure out ways to irritate me and Blaine. He is constantly licking the window, biting the screen, Chewing on our trees and plants, digging hole in our yard, etc. He loves to jump all over Ashlyn which she hates. I can't wait till she is bigger than him and tackles him to the ground. lol I have had so many scratch mark and bite marks on my that I have lost count.

But I do admit he has really grown on me and he is slowly but surely getting better. He is a very smart boy so we just got to get him out of this puppy stage!

I don't even bother cleaning that window because I know it will be sick in 5 minutes!

It's crazy to think he used to be this small and cuddly!
